Think you can beat the market? Prove it and win up to €350
The goal of the contest is to go beyond traditional classroom learning and provide participants with direct, hands-on investment experience. Through real-time decision-making in a competitive environment, participants will develop investment intuition and strategic thinking while gaining exposure to a broader network of motivated students. It is an online simulated investment contest designed for university students in Spain. The competition takes place entirely online.
Requirements
Be enrolled at a Spanish university
Be an unedrgraduate or graduate student
Be between 18 and 28 years old
Exchange students at Spanish universities are elegible
No prior experience in investing or finance is required
Competition format and rules
Each participant or team will start with a virtual portfolio of €500,000. The competition runs for four weeks. Portfolio performance will be evaluated using absolute returns.
The game takes place in a simulated trading environment that allows for active investment strategies while imposing realistic market constraints. Players can trade stocks using margin trading and short selling, but options trading is not permitted. The market operates with a 20-minute delay, encouraging strategic rather than purely reactive trading. Transaction costs, margin interest, and diversification requirements are integrated to reflect real-world frictions and promote risk awareness.

The competition will last four weeks, during which you can freely manage your virtual investment portfolio according to the established rules.
